Product Review: Snikiddy All Natural Cheese Puffs: Grilled Cheese & Mac & Cheese flavors July 19
This is a tasty, cheesy snack that my family couldn’t get enough of! I sampled two of Snikiddy’s cheese puff flavors- mac & cheese and grilled cheese.
These baked, all natural, gluten free cheese snacks come in a one ounce snack pack size as well as a larger four ounce size. That might not seem like much, but these puffs are so light and crisp that it provides a generous serving size.
These snacks are lightly flavored, with very little cheese dust left on your fingers after a few bites. The mac & cheese flavor is the mildest- you can taste the corn with a hint of “real” cheddar cheese – no fake flavors here! The grilled cheese flavor is the strongest of the two- you definitely get a cheese packed flavor punch with this one. I did not notice a greasy taste or feel with these snacks as well.
Overall, a good, solid product that is a great, all natural snack option. In fact, when school start up again, this is a gluten free snack the kids will love and not feel left out or different at lunchtime. What’s not to like about that?
Pros: light and crisp, natural cheese flavor, all natural, baked, healthier snack option for junk food junkies, organic
Cons: sodium content is 250 mg, or 10%DV
Rating: 4 1/2 stars

I was excited to try these but bummed to find out they are manufactured in a facility that also processes wheat.
I’m glad this information was on the bag (to avoid having to call/email the company) but it is a disappointment for me for sure. Will have to stick to the other savory snacks I’ve found thus far…

Actaully, this is what the bag states:
Allergen information: contains milk. Good manufacturing practices used to segregate ingredients in the facility that also produces eggs, soy ingredients, wheat, peanuts and tree nuts.”
I am extremely sensitive to gluten, and had zero gluten reaction with all three of the bags I tried. Hope that helps!

Yes, sorry for not being more specific. I am newly diagnosed (5 days ago) with celiac and had been told that even ‘good manufacturing practices’ are a risk when the facility also processes wheat. I’m sure as I proceed in my journey I will be better able to gauge risk related to products. Not trying to start a “what really is gluten-free” debate or anything.
I’m following your site in my RSS feed and I look forward to exploring all the products you have posted about in the past and future!!!
) This is a great resource especially for newbies like me who went to the grocery store for the first time after diagnosis and got overwhelmed by all the ingredient lists, unclear labeling, etc.
