Product Review: Pacific Natural Foods Organic Condensed Cream Soups- mushroom, chicken and celery ( all gluten free)

I am really loving these new condensed soups from Pacific Natural Foods! Now that winter weather is upon many of us, it is an ideal time to break out those crock pots and roasting pans to create some tasty comfort foods. One of my favorites is making chicken and rice in my crock pot using both the cream of mushroom and chicken soups. It is simple to assemble and cooks in an afternoon. The flavors of the soups are really nice- not too salty or processed tasting. They are also made with creme fraiche and organic ingredients.
In recipes, I used to use Progresso or Health Valley soups, thickened with brown rice flour. It was fine, but always a bit of a guessing game as to how much flour to add, as well as an extra step that slowed me up if I was in a hurry. Thanks to these Pacific gluten free condensed soups, I don’t have to worry about that anymore.
In my area, each 12 ounce box of soup averages around $2.79. However, I have found them on sale as low as $2.00. The soups come in three varieties: cream of mushroom, cream of chicken, and cream of celery.
If you are one that enjoys casseroles, roasts with gravy, comfort foods like pot pies, or crock pot creations, these soups might be a good product for you to check out.
Pros: nice flavor, organic, convenient, no added sugar or flavors
Cons: ???
Rating: 5 stars
