Product Review: Made to Crave Honey Animal Grahams

Posted on | October 21, 2009 | 1 Comment

How fun! Made to Crave sent me  a sample of their new honey animal graham cookies to check out.  They look just like gluten containing animal crackers, except the shapes are farm themed rather than circus themed. My kids loved sorting through them to check out the variety and, of course, eating them.
These cookies have a nice soft crunch to them and are the perfect size for little hands.  The texture isn’t grainy and seemed like “regular” cookies.  The flavor is a nice blend of sweet, buttery vanilla and cinnamon.
My picky kids inhaled them and asked when I would order a big package just for us – they thought they were fantastic, and I had to agree.
To me, these cookies are a no brainer- an all natural, hand made snack that both children and adults would enjoy.
Pros: fantastic flavor and texture; can’t tell they are gluten free, fun variety of farm animal shaped for the kids
Cons: Honestly, I really can’t think of any
Rating: 5 stars
Ingredients: brown rice flour, brown sugar, butter, potato starch, honey, tapioca flour, salt, vanilla extract, cinnamon, baking powder (sodiuym bicarbonate, corn starch, monocalcium phosphate)

So far, it doens’t look like these gluten free animal graham cookies are on their website yet. When they are, I will definately post a link.
