    Thank you so much for this article I am as surprised as anyone else. My son has autism and is a Gluten Free diet and I am noticing more and more food with the Gluten Free label on it. I just want to say how glad I am of this and the fact that people are having places like Eleanor’s Bake Shop. Thanks so much for sharing this.

    Good article. I’d love to know why celiac disease and gluten intolerance are so much more prevalent these days. I look forward to the day when they figure it all out.

    Yes, they indeed H A V E figured it out, unfortunately the writer of the Yahoo article didn’t do his/her research. If y’all really want to know why….really know why, it’s the WHEAT. It was re-engineered in early 50’s to be more productive, bigger head, shorter stalk, able to be grown anywhere on the planet and under any weather conditions by a Dr. Borlund. However, it was never tested on humans just planted all over the globe. Lucky us. This “new” (not so new) wheat causes a whole host of problems. Please, y’all need to read the book: Wheat Belly by Dr William Davis…you will not regret the purchase. Go to and you can even get it on your Kindle. Now we have Celiac and Gluten Intolerance all over the globe.
