Product Review: Jake Bakes Cappuccino Marshmallows – gluten free/ dairy free/ GFCF

Posted on | January 21, 2009 | 1 Comment

Jake Bakes sent me these handcrafted gluten free marshmallows to try out. Honestly, I have only had the processed kind you buy at the grocery store. Oh wow, was I in for a treat!
These large, square gluten free chocolate marshmallows are incredibly soft and literally melt in your mouth. Their sweetness is pure and smooth, not crunchy or sugary in a granulated sense.  They are dusted with a cappuccino flavored coating that is perfect for coffee lovers or those that like a burst of cappuccino flavor in their hot chocolate.  These also come in vanilla bean flavor, and I look forward to trying them out soon.
And what is even better, is that they are made in an allergy friendly, dedicated facility that is free from gluten, dairy, egg, and nut free.
Pros: soft, sweet, gourmet flavor that could possibly be addicting!
Cons: if you don’t like coffee or cappuccino flavored foods, pass on these marshmallows
Rating: 5 stars
Ingredients: cocoa powder, espresso powder, sugar, gelatin, corn syrup
