Product Review: Nature’s Path/ Envirokidz Amazon Frosted Flakes cereal (gluten free, organic) April 21
Totally tasty, that’s what these are! If you used to like regular frosted flakes before going gluten free, you will definitively enjoy these anytime.
These corn based flakes are sweetened with organic evaporated cane juice with a pinch of sea salt. That’s it- no extra additives or preservatives. Simple.
These flakes are actually a little thicker than the original Frosted Flakes adorned with Tony the Tiger on the box. Therefore, they retain their texture and crunch a little longer. The flavor is mild and just sweet enough to be satisfying.In fact, in a pinch, I actually crushed these gluten free frosted corn flakes when coating chicken for a sweet and sour recipe with fantastic results.
Overall, these are a great gluten free alternative for those of you that may enjoy a morning bowl of cereal with a bit of sweetness.
Pros: nice flavor, hearty corn flakes that don’t get soggy
Cons: none really!
