I always try to have one of these gluten free spice cookie mixes on hand from The Pure Pantry. These oatmeal spice cookies are a favorite amongst my gluten eating children and their friends.
Normally this gluten free cookie mix retails for $6.99 at my local grocery store. Ouch, I know, very expensive! However, occasionally it will go on sale [...]

Thank you Udi’s for saving me at my tailgate parties this fall!
My family started a tradition of tailgating at our college alma mater home football games this year. It’s a fun time to spend together, playing sports and tasting some great cookout foods. Typically I would bring a Kinnikinnick hamburger bun, drizzle it with olive oil [...]

My summers just got a little sweeter with these tasty gluten free graham crackers from Kinnikinnick!
S’mores are a sinful summer staple at my house for backyard fire pits and camping excursions, and I often feel little wistful that I can’t have a s’more that tastes as good as the original. And the comments of ” Oh, [...]

Who doesn’t love pizza?
I love it, but hate the prep time it can take to made homemade gluten free pizza crust. Not only is it messy, but my lack of finesse in the kitchen also contributes to unpredictable results.

Candy can be tricky on a gluten free diet.
When it comes to gummy candies and jelly beans, I have had a hard time finding a certified gluten free product. I like to err on the side of caution, so I usually opt out of gummy candies all together because it just isn’t worth the risk of a reaction.

At my house, we are huge breakfast people- and I mean HUGE. It is usually our largest meal of the day, as a matter of fact. We love everything from scrambled eggs to french toast, and on holiday mornings our family tradition was to make sweet and ooey gooey cinnamon rolls. Sadly, we abandoned that [...]

Tracey’s Treats sent me some cute little mixes to test out for gluten free muffins, millet bread and oat bread. The mixes come in simple white bags that doesn’t use extra packaging or boxes. I liked that.

I am starting to feel more confident with my gluten free cooking. Although I like high quality ingredients and flavorful meals, I am also not opposed to using a gluten free mix to save time and frustration.
