Product Review: Black Horse Hot & Spicy Sauce – gluten free

This week I am trying to finish up my Black Horse product reviews. It has taken me a while to wade through them- they have so many tasty sauces, and it is taking a while since I don’t like to eat similar dishes ever night. Variety is a good thing!
My sister Kristina has been a huge help with taste testing products with me. It is fun since we each have a different perspective since she has dealt with Celiac Disease her whole life, and I was only diagnosed two years ago. This a product she and her husband tested for me.
Apparently, this Black Horse Hot & Spicy Sauce costs $5.45 for a 12 ounce bottle. It is almost exactly as the their Savory Sauce, but with a bite and heat, just enough so that it leaves your mouth hot, without it having that “on fire” experience. It really is a nice balance between flavor and heat. The sauce is thick and almost paste-like, making it a great choice for the grill. This gluten free sauce was tested on chicken, steaks, and hamburgers- all with tasty and flavorful success.
